Dr. Savannah Basham is originally from Betsy Layne, Kentucky (very Eastern KY). She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Animal Sciences in 2016, then graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. After graduation, she completed a Large Animal Field Services internship at Auburn practicing mostly on cattle, goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, pigs & horses. 

Savannah has a strong interest in infectious diseases, calf care/colostrum management, and public health. She looks forward to serving the farmers around the Owensboro area!!

In her free time, Savannah enjoys being outdoors, reading, and traveling (especially to the Disney theme parks). Savannah has an Australian Shepherd at home (Lola).
