Dr. Horstman
Dr. Horstman is originally from Louisville, KY. He attended undergrad at the University of Kentucky where he graduated in 2017 with a degree in Animal Sciences, then graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Following graduation, Dr. Horstman moved to Horse Cave, KY where he practiced as a mixed animal veterinarian working with dogs, cats, cattle, horses, reptiles, and other exotics including camels, kangaroos and various birds.
Dr. Horstman has a desire to learn as much as possible about cattle reproduction. Dr. Horstman hopes to expand KAC capabilities in this area including BSE, herd management, and AI (artificial insemination). He loves the opportunities and challenges that veterinary medicine presents each and every day.
In his free time, Austin enjoys being with his wife Natalie, family and friends. He is an avid sports fan with college basketball and football being his favorite past times. Austin also enjoys anything nerdy. At home Austin has two rescue kiddos in Gizmo (DSH) and River (toy Australian Shepherd).
