Dr. Ashley Flener is originally from Hanson, KY and has known she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was 6 years old. She received her Bachelor's Degree in biology from Western Kentucky University in May of 2016, and then went on to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation in May 2020, Dr. Flener joined us at Kentuckiana as an Associate Veterinarian. She has special interest in physical therapy and preventative medicine. In her free time Dr. Flener enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and stepson, Miller, outdoors (especially the lake), reading, and watching UK basketball. She has two mixed breed dogs, River & Riggs, and one tripod kitty named Tres.
