Dr. Laura Boarman
Dr. Boarman is a 2010 graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of Owensboro and completed her undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University. Her special interests in the veterinary field are dentistry and preventive medicine. In her spare time she enjoys camping and fishing. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé Adam and her 3 Australian Shepherds.

Dr. William E. Purdy
Dr. William E. Purdy is a native of Owensboro. He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University. He then went on to complete his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in June 1973. Dr. Purdy has been practicing veterinary medicine here at Kentuckiana since leaving Auburn. Dr. Purdy has special interest in pet reproduction and dentistry. In his leisure, he enjoys duck hunting, fishing and raising Dandie Dinmont Terriers for show and sale.

Dr. Donald Bryant
Dr. Donald Bryant is a native of Kentucky, born and raised in McClean County. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky in May 1971 with a degree in Agriculture. Dr. Bryant received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in June 1975. Shortly after graduation, he came to Kentuckiana and has been practicing here ever since. Dr. Bryant has special interest in orthopedic surgery and dermatology. He enjoys hunting, traveling on trains and collecting knives and antique safes.

Dr. Laura Richey
Dr. Laura Richey is a native of Indiana. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in May 2002. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine also from Purdue in May 2005. Dr. Richey joined our practice in May 2006. Her special interests are dermatology and ophthalmology. Dr. Richey has several pets of her own including dogs, cats, fish and horses. She enjoys riding and showing her horses. Dr. Richey loves to travel to warm tropical settings and is an avid Kenny Chesney fan.

Dr. Katie Willis
Dr. Katie Willis is a 2008 graduate of Purdue University's School of Veterinary Medicine. She now calls Owensboro home, but is a Hoosier at heart having been born and raised in Evansville. While she enjoys all of the challenges of veterinary medicine, her specific areas of interest include infectious disease, endocrinology, and ophthalmology. Dr. Willis has an Australian Shepherd named Maxine and a cat named Gus.
